On seeing love.

I have seen love.
I have seen love in so many ways.

I have seen love when a mother holds her newborn, looking down into his un-understanding eyes and whispers “I’ll show you.”
I have seen love when a bride looks up at her new husband, asking him to lead, and he in turn looks down and asks her to follow beside him.
I have seen love when my nephew falls, and runs to his momma’s comforting arms.
I have seen love when my husband lets me dance on his shoes because a wedding guest broke skin on my toe with her heels and I need a break before I can continue shooting the wedding.
I have seen love when my parents graciously let us live in my old bedroom with a ridiculously low rent so we can save money before we travel overseas to teach and cook.
I have seen love, or maybe it’s trust when my baby sister lets me curl her hair for prom.
And I have seen love in the eyes of my creator, when He gives me sunshiny days and purple lilacs on the front lawn.
I have seen love.
I have seen love in so many ways.

Where do you see love?
