Checking out the 'Blueprint'

Sunday stroll through our fav little alley- just down the street from our church!

Cleaning out the pond in Tainan park- Dave took this one!

Checking out Yong Kang Park on a sunny New Year's Day.

Palm trees in Yong Kang.

Are you sure we're not in South America?

Dave found a nice place to chill!

He wasn't even afraid.

The statue in the background is Lin Mo Niang- legend has it she is the human form of the goddess Matsu- who protects the sea workers and offers an image of piousness to the young Taiwanese. This park overlooks the Anping harbour.

Kites in Anping.

Chilling at the Anping beach.

A local fisherman.

We found a bird man in the park.

And Steph found a royal carriage.

Happy 2014!!

Dave looooves driving our scooter, Buzz.

Tainan park.

Chihkan Tower- feeding the koi fish!

Chihkan Tower itself.

Exploring Tainan park with Matt during Chinese New Year.

This guy is doing some calligraphy.

And this lady is getting stamped- most likely either for protection or good luck.

LOTS of incense.

This super-cool and super-tiny alley leads to a cafe- conveniently called 'The Narrow Door Cafe!'
